Elin Teilus is a singer, yoiker and artist with roots in Udtja, Sápmi in the north and Gothenburg in the south of Sweden. A force of nature with a magic voice of the sweetest well, rawness of soil and playful as the northern light Elin welcomes you to her world.

With a rebel heart and a proverb for the innocent she yoiks the unseen and unspoken that is alive in all connection. Hearing her sing is like sitting by the fire watching stories by the ancient ones come alive in the light of the future in a weaving with everyone present.

Singing the wild, Elin invites you to remember the untouched, sacred connection with life that dwells in every human. The inherent bond with nature,Life and spirit.

I believe in the voices of the free lands...
I believe in our connection with Earth
that we belong to her, that we are her.
and in feeling that connection we know who the are and what our actions must be.

I believe in rebellion as life itself is a rebel
I believe in the voices of the wind, the soil, the mountains, the animals,
the dance of the northern lights in the dark night sky, the children’s laughter...

I believe that sensitivity is real
and so, so sane in a world gone crazy.
I believe in all beings birthright
to be safe, to feel safe
in every moment alive.

I believe that my ancestors are present with me opening the world of the future,
the children to come and all of coming generations
and that I have a responsibility to listen to all of them in honor of their wisdom.

I believe in a world where indigenous ways are being respected as they inherently know peace, connection and natural life.

I will roar, I will yoik, I will sing tenderly in my trust of the human heart beating in tune with life
restored again
I will not settle for less.
